olympic games

the old chinese tradition of YIN and YANG also refers to my feelings concerning the Olypmic games.
YIN: beeing too sad leaving china, missing this big event, YANG: glad to have left to espcape the national crazyism
YIN: yes, it has been fantastic games, architecture, ceremony, events as such YANG: the cheating during the ceremony and the unbelievable sportive results, just leqaves an unease mood.

and teh big question: what is happening next to beijing, now as the climax the country and city waited for the last years is over?

anyway, ugandans here, did not care so much about the Olympics. football yes. all the time in TV and print. but the Olympic event passed quiete queit here in the media. except the running event. But no medal for Uganda. The biggest athlete ever, coming from Uganda, was Akii-Bua who won the gold medal in Munich for 800 m track. He later became a police officer, got a road named after him and 11 children. One of which is Alice: our nice receptionist.
