tibetan protest

i am in shock. today i saw online the photos of the current protests of Tibetans against the "occupation" of china. been travelling there in 2006, i imagine the peacefullness of the temples and streets and landscape, but also remembered the sour feeling of chinese business everywhere.
just in the year of olympic games, everyone expected rather Taiwan to rise up against the surpression by the BJ government. but now its tibet. i hope, i do really hope, that especially because of the international observation and pressure, it will lead to a dialogue (and even a forced one, is better than noone) and a re-tension of the situation and more freedom for the region.
