Bad honnef
i spend my last 3,5 weeks in BadHonnef, a little sleepy nest directly at the Rhine for my preparation courses. Bad Honnef announces itself as: "romantic, idyllic and historic", which you could interpretate right as "small, civic and boring". But the house where the future development workers are staying in, is even 3 km away, and it's like a small holiday camp, especially with such great weather we had recently. so we were playing volleayball, barbecueing, jogging, and just hanging out together in the park.
what i was there for again? ups, yes, i forgot, my courses!
i had 3 courses: presentation, intercultural training, and InHouse training for my new employer, the german development service. the first courses have been really learnfull.
i met crazy, interesting lovely people in all ages who will start working in all the different parts of the world, such as PapuaGuinea (for films) Malawi (aids), Palestine (radio) etc----. i think i am only half as crazy as other people and you might think .. :)
